Acer is jumping on the HD notebook bandwagon with their Acer Aspire 7720-6844 notebook. Hmm, looking at the specs, it looks like there was no word on the press release as to what specific optical drive the Acer Aspire 7720-6844 notebook will carry, I guess it would be your choice whether it;s Blu-ray or HD-DVD. Will update my post once I find out online retailers of the Acer Aspire 7720-6844.
The Acer Aspire 7720-6844 has a 17 inch wide screen LCD, 2GB of memory, Intel Core 2 Duo T5450, 250GB of hard disk drive, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS 256MB dedicated graphics, and built-in 802.11a/b/g WLAN, gigabit LAN, V.92 modem. The Acer Aspire 7720-6844 also has Dolby Home Theater for surround sound audio when watching HD movies.
The Acer Aspire 7720-6844 is available now with a starting price of $1049.
