Bluetooth Watches

With the introduction of its new line of mobile phones, Sony Ericsson also announced three new Bluetooth watches in a recent press release. Dubbed as the Bluetooth Watch MBW-150, it comes in 3 Editions to suit your style.
Sony's first try at the Bluetooth Watch was with theMBW-100, but it failed to create a buzz among tech addicts.

The Bluetooth Watch MBW-150 Music Edition is finished in black with orange details, the Executive Edition has a professional looking stainless steel bracelet while the Classic Edition has a premium leather strap and black face. All the MBW-150 range has a scratch-resistant glass face and an anti-glare coating. Sony Ericsson's iPhone killer

I've recently posted a news article about Sony Ericsson introducing their new line of phones. Well, one of these phone is the W960. The W960 has an internal 8GB memory, which can probably store 8000 songs, and can transfer 1GB of files from PC to phone in less than 3 minutes. This handset has a 2.6 inch touchscreen which can respond to either your fingers or a stylus.

And what's great about this phone over the iPhone is that, this has a 3G connection. Though you have to wait till the 4th Quarter of 2007 to get your hands on this phone. My advice: Get the iPhone and then sell it when this phone comes out.

Cheap way to video conference online

I’ve stumbled unto this video conferencing site just a few days ago. I’ve always wanted to see how video conferencing works. As an accountant for a government agency, I’ve seen some disbursement vouchers and there was one voucher I’ve seen as payment for video conferencing equipment. Well, I have to tell you, video conferencing equipment doesn’t come cheap.

If I was part of the decision makers in our company and I’ve stumbled unto that site before purchasing that video conferencing equipment, I would have recommended it instead of spending tax payers’ money on some overpriced video equipment. They have different video conferencing packages for different needs. Though I’m still looking forward to the day when we could video conference with holographic images. That would be so cool.

Palm releases the Foleo

Tech news has been filled with news about Palm's new gadget, the Foleo. It's sort of like a laptop with a ten inch display, a full sized keyboard, about the size of a hardbound book, and weighs around 2.5 pounds.
Palm's Foleo, a laptop-like gadget but is it really worth the $500 price tag?

The only thing lacking to make it a full-pledged laptop is that it doesn't have a hard drive and can't fully function as a computer.

So what does it do you say? Well, they're marketing it as a companion for smart phones, particularly the Palm Treo, to let users edit their e-mails and other documents by connecting it with their phones through Bluetooth connection. The Foleo works with Treo smart phones but Palm says that it would also work with most Windows-based smart phones with little or no configuration. Foleo also has Wi-Fi, can browse the internet, and has a Linux-based operating system.

HOW TO EARN FROM THE INTERNET

For those who have an unlimited broadband connection at home or unlimited internet access, here are a few online earning sites that I've joined. If you have a lot of free time, you should join these sites to earn a few dollars/cents on the side. It may not seem much but when it adds up, it could be a pretty big amount.

GET PAID TO POST ON FORUMS:
A few months ago I joined this paid forum and today, I got $29.84 in my paypal account just now so I just want to share with you guys that the site works. The site is: here

A few tips:

1. You should respond to around 20 discussions per day which are around 4-5 lines long in which case you can earn around 60 cents. If you do this everyday for a month your earnings would be .60x30=$18. If you do more posts, you can actually earn $1 per day so that's $30 per month. An easy P1500 for just discussing about topics. However, you being new, you will probably earn a little less until you build up your reputation. Remember, the site owners are looking for QUALITY discussions, not quantity.

2. You can upload pictures and you can earn around 1 cents for every picture uploaded, there's a limit on the number of picture uploaded per day, though.

3. Try to build a lot of friends so that they could answer your discussions. Try to add friends who are always on the top discussions as these people will probably be the ones that are always online.

GET PAID TO CLICK ON EMAILS:
This is another great site and I got paid. If you're from the UK, try this site out, minimum payout is 5GBP. You earn by clicking on their ads which they send you through email or though their site, getting paid to sign-up for other offers, promoting their page, or referring your friends. Click here to enter the site.

Another paid to click site for UK residents which can be found here. Minimum payout is 3GBP.

GET PAID FOR SHARING/UPLOADING YOUR PICTURES

If you like to upload and share your pictures on the net then you might as well get paid for it, try this site here.
Minimum payout is $20, if you have adsense, you can link your account here to increase your earnings. A tip: Try promoting your pages on autosurf sites.

I will try to post other sites that paid me in the near future. Hope this helps you.

Video Game Review: Belle's Beauty Boutique

Okay, if you like a fun, fast-paced game with cutesy graphics, you have got to try, Belle's Beauty Boutique. Guys who like blood-filled action-packed games, you better stay away from this one or you'll probably get cooties. For game tips and tricks, please go here.

The game's story line is that Belle wants to open up a salon so she can make the world a beautiful place. She gets her wish so she has to run a salon and satisfy different types of customers.

If you like the diner-dash type of games, this one would be right up your alley. You have to keep customers happy by catering to their needs like cutting their hair, blow-drying, washing, manicures, or hair coloring. To do this, you have to seat them in the appropriate chairs. A thought bubble will appear so that you can match them to the chairs. When doing manicures and hair-coloring, you have to make sure that the rotating arrow stops at the color the customer wants.

Belle has different types of customers. Unlike in the diner-dash games where you can earn higher points by chain actions, here, you can earn bonus points by matching the customers so that they could either gossip or flirt. There's a gossip/flirt meter which when it gets full, you can do a make-over and rack up some extra cash.

As you progress through the game, you can buy upgrades and change your wall, floor, and window colors. You can buy a radio, tv, magazines, drinks, or spa treatments to use on your customers when they become tired of waiting. You can also hire assistants who can help you with your customers but watch out; they could slack on the job so you have to click on them to make sure they're paying attention to the customers.

At first, I thought the game was fairly easy, just a matching sort of game but the higher the level, the more chairs and more customers you get and I have to admit, you get confused sometimes. And getting expert scores is really tough. But once I got the hang of it (after playing it constantly for 1 week), getting expert scores is easy.

The game has two modes: the story mode and the endless beauty mode. In the story mode, you have to get through all 40 levels before Belle could finally get a bigger salon and in Endless beauty...well, the name says it all, a never-ending work day.

The cute graphics and voice-overs make this game really entertaining. If you've already finished all diner-dash games, then you better get cracking on this one. I'll have to give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

The 2007 MTV Movie Awards: Hollywood Gone Wild

By now, we all know that awards shows in Hollywood are all about taking home the big prize-well, not the MTV movie awards. It seems that this show isn't about winning but more on Hollywood stars having a great time and keeping the censors on the edge.

The show was hosted by Sarah Silverman, who made a few people cringed during her opening stand-up comedy act, particularly, the one she made about Paris Hilton going to jail. The cameras panned in on Paris Hilton during the joke and she wasn't smiling.

Plus, it's not going to be an MTV Movie awards without controversial scenes like Sarah Silverman and Jessica Biel's near-kiss and Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen's on-stage make-out session.

The show was broadcasted live from the Gibson Amphitheater and it was all too obvious that the stars were enjoying themselves by giving the Censors a thorough workout. Everyone was cussing, including Bruce Willis who let out a "Yippee kay ay, motherf----", even Jack Nicholson joined in on the bleeping party and dropped an F-bombed during his thank-you speech when he received the Best Villain.

There were also some power-packed performances like Rihanna and Jay-Z's rendition of "Umbrella" and Amy Winehouse performed her hit song "Rehab".

But let's not forget that this is an Awards Show so there are winners. The biggest winners are Pirates of the Caribbean and Borat who took home two awards each. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest won the best movie and Johnny Depp won Best Performance. During his speech, Johnny Depp thanked Jerry Bruckheimer and Disney for not firing him. Indeed, thank God they didn't or we wouldn't have Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Sacha Baron Cohen also won two awards, one for Best Comedic Performance for his classic portrayal of the Kazakh journalist, Borat, and the other is for best kiss which he shared with Will Ferrell for their performance in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, this is where all the manly kissing and groping started. I was waiting for an appearance of Borat, but Sacha, during his thank-you speech for Best Comedic Performance, said that Borat is in rehab for driving under the influence of horse urine.

If you missed the show, too bad, you probably won't catch another one like it next year since the Censors will still probably have this event in mind before they allow MTV to do another live show. Here's a list of the winners:

* Best Movie: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest * Best Performance: Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest * Best Villain: Jack Nicholson, The Departed * Breakthrough Performance: Jaden Smith, the Pursuit of Happyness * Best Comedic Performance: Sacha Baron Cohen, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan * Best Kiss: Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby * Best Fight: Gerard Butler vs. "The Uber Immortal"- 300 * Best Summer Movie You Haven't Seen Yet: TRANSFORMERS * mtvU Best Filmmaker on Campus: Josh Greenbaum- Featured Film: Border Patrol * Best Movie Spoof: United 300 by Andy Signore * MTV Generation Award: Mike Myers
