Okay, so last Christmas, I have just spent more than three month’s salary on Christmas gifts for everyone on my Christmas list. Three month’s salary!!!! Jeez! And because I have no savings, I have to max out my credit limit on all five of my credit cards. I thought I had to take out secured loans in order to pay off my debts but thankfully, my employer was generous and I was able to pay all that off with my Christmas bonus.
I know, I know, why would anyone go all the trouble of being in debt in order to buy some silly gifts. I’ve asked that question to myself many times and there are times that I’m tempted to skip the country on Christmas just to avoid giving gifts, however, call a sap and all but I actually enjoy it. I mean, it’s always been a tradition in our family. Anyways, hope next year I won’t go bankrupt.
