G-Technology has recently unveiled the G-Drive Mini Triple 500, the world's first 500GB 2.5 inch portable external hard drive. The G-Drive Mini Triple 500 features Firewire 800, Firewire 400 and USB 2.0 ports and is mainly designed for Mac Users, hey, it was unveiled at the Macworld after all.
The G-Drive Mini Triple 500 is HFS+ formatted and Time Machine ready, has an aluminum enclosure, and an internal cooling system. Though it is designed mainly for the Mac market, Windows user can also use the G-Drive Mini Triple 500 since it comes with both Mac OS and Windows drivers.
The G-Drive Mini Triple 500 will be available in March, no pricing has yet been set for the device.
