Whoa! Slap in the face for Toshiba and HD-DVD. In a recent press release by the department store giant, it announced, or rather disowned any statement by Toshiba that they will be exclusively supporting HD-DVD in their stores.
Kmart said that they support both Blu-ray and HD-DVD platforms and that they don't plan on supporting either one exclusively. Now I wonder what made HD-DVD think that there was such an agreement with Kmart? Sounds like a major PR blunder on Toshiba's part.
