Sony Ericsson K660i

And to wrap up the new cell phones that Sony introduced, we have the last one of the bunch, the Sony Ericsson K660i. The Sony Ericsson K660i has HSDPA capabilities for faster mobile web browsing and over the air downloads. A Google Maps for Mobile is also incorporated in the Sony Ericsson K660i as well as a 2 mega pixel camera.

Of the features on the Sony Ericsson K660i, Sony boasts of the Web optimized browsing. Sony says that the Sony Ericsson K660i's navigation key serves as a magnetic mouse pointer that recognizes when a text is clickable or where you can input text.

Not really a novel idea since this "Magnetic Mouse Pointer" that Sony boasts about can already be found in the Opera Mini Web browser which by the way is the best mobile phone browser I've ever seen. Let's just see how the mobile browser on the Sony Ericsson K660i will compare with the Opera Mini browser when the phone comes out in early 2008.
