For a small business, keeping tabs of your account is a tough job and hiring an accountant could be pretty expensive. There are a lot of simple accounting software out there that are designed to let you do the bookkeeping yourself but none of them could probably make it as simple as LessAccounting.com.
Lessaccounting.com is not even a software, it’s an online service that keeps track of your accounts. You don’t even need to have an accounting background to understand the interface. I love just how simple they made it, there’s the dashboard tab where you keep track of your unpaid expenses and pending invoices, the “money in” tab that lets you make invoices and keep track of received payments, the “money out” tab where you keep track of your expenses, the “watch money” tab that gives you a summary of your transactions and the “contacts” tab for keeping tab on your customers. See? There’s nothing so complicated or technical about the words they use. Even a high school student will probably find the site easy to use. And what’s great about this is that it’s online and secured. You don’t have to worry about your files and accounts being destroyed by viruses or having to stop business operations because your computer is on the fritz, you can just log in on any computer and it’s business as usual.
