You won’t see any mountain bikes here and don’t even think about using the bikes you have here on rough roads. Beach Cruisers are specifically designed for flat surface and have low speeds so it is best used on hard packed sands. Most of the models you see seemed old fashioned, that’s because beach cruisers have become popular in the 1950s and these cruisers’ fat tires and wide handlebars is what makes them good on the beach.
