I was looking through the net for some weight loss gadgets that I might feature and I’ve come upon this Medtronic Transcend II gastric stimulator. According to popsci.com, the Transcend II gastric stimulator sends some painless electrical pulse into the stomach wall every six seconds which fools your brain into thinking you’re full. It’s already available in Europe however, I can’t find any pages stating if this is already available in the US. Oh well, better go find yourself a lap band physician if you’re really not keen about gastric bypass surgery.
