2009 Infiniti FX

The 2009 Infiniti FX has just been revealed at the Geneva Motor show. This vehicle is a luxury crossover, blending sports car and SUV design. According to the press release, the 2009 Infiniti FX will be available in three models.

Under the hood, the 2009 Infiniti FX has a 390-horsepower 5.0 liter 32 valve DOHC V8 engine and another model will have an advanced V6 engine, details of which will soon be available. This crossover SUV also has a 7 speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift control and an Intelligent All-wheel drive.

June 2008 is the scheduled availability in the United States and Canada for the 2009 Infiniti FX.

Goldmund's Eidos 20 BD: The $16,900 Blu-ray player

Since Blu-ray won the format wars and all, naturally, companies are now churning out their own stand-alone Blu-ray Players. Goldmund came up with their own Blu-ray player, the Eidos 20 BD.

Some of the features of the Goldmund Eidos 20 BD includes an AC-Curator which can improve picture quality and sound though I why the need for that, I don't know, you can't get any better than Blu-ray. Goldmund's Eidos 20 BD also has a Mechanical Grounding construction which removes the vibrations on the player that can blur the video signals. The Eidos 20 BD also makes use of Goldmund's proprietary Magnetic Damper which lowers the player's reading errors.

The price for all these "high-end" features? A whopping $16900 for the Eidos 20 DB. All I can say? I could buy a whole bunch of Sony PS3s at that price.

Honda CB1100R Concept will not make it into production anytime soon

Looks like the Honda CB1100R concept motorcycle won’t be put into production according to HelmetHairblog. Though the Honda CB1100R looks so exquisite and gorgeous from all angles, according to the designer, Koji Miwa, this motorcycle will be very expensive to produce because of the quality of the parts. Though motorcycle enthusiasts who won’t mind spending outrageously huge amount of money on their motor bikes won’t mind, Miwa said that he wanted the Honda CB1100R to sell as a regular model and not a limited edition machine.

So what makes the Honda CB1100R too expensive you say? Well, just the 1100cc engine. I don’t mind scrapping the 1100cc engine on the Honda CB1100R, I just really like the design on this machine and I hope that I would see this on the street soon. But I guess it’s just as well that Miwa wants the Honda CB1100R to be a regular bike coz imagine the Motorcycle Insurance premium you have to pay for a very expensive bike with 1100cc engine.

Speaking of motorcycle insurance, my brother just got a brand new sports bike and I was surprised by the amount of premium that the dealer quoted for him. He said that the more sportier and expensive the motorcycle, the higher the premium you have to pay. But thanks to the internet, my brother was able to find a motorcycle insurance with a lesser premium, but of course that means limited coverage.

Simworks: Anti-Virus for your Series 60 Nokia phone
