Nokia Launches Internet Radio Service

Nokia has recently launched its own Internet Radio Service and the application can be downloaded for free at http://www.nokia.com/internetradio.

Browsing on the nokia internet radio can be done based on station name, genre, country or language. According to Nokia, it will also embed the service unto its upcoming s60 third generation phones.

Currently, compatible devices for the nokia internet radio includes: Nokia N82, Nokia N91, Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB.

Though I don't really get why there's a need for an internet radio service, I mean, doesn't most Nokia phones come with a built-in FM tuner? Isn't that a little bit too redundant?

Optimizing your Website

Okay, so a lot of you would probably notice that my blog is only around more than six months old and yet it’s already a PR4. I know a PR4 is not something to boast about since I’ve read somewhere that someone got a PR5 in 90 days. The secret as many of you would know is SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Search Engine Optimization is prepping your website/blog so that it is search engine friendly, meaning; it would be on pages one or two when people search for your chosen keywords. Search Engine Optimization involves search engine marketing and it’s no easy task. I just did all the SEO tips on the web that I could find and could actually do. Do the tips work? I guess they do, I mean, I have a PR4, right?

A lot of tips on how to optimize your website are very useful but if you have an online business or you have big plans for your website, I wouldn’t recommend optimizing your website yourself unless you’re an expert on SEO, leave it to a search engine marketing agency. There are a lot of companies on the web that offer search engine marketing and their services usually include SEO, landing page development, website analytics, etc. Though I don’t really know which ones work since I haven’t tried one yet (Hey, this is just a blog, it’s not like I’m competing against CNET or something), search engine marketing would help you boost traffic to you site rather than going at it yourself.

Gadget Gift Idea Under $20: Mini Solar-Powered Car

This is a totally cool gadget, a mini solar-powered car. Just look at how cute it is! It's the world's smallest solar powered car and can move when the sun shines on the solar panel. It can also work with a strong artificial light source.

This is perfect for gadget geeks though I probably won't recommend it for children since it can be easily swallowed due to small parts. Costs only $19.99 at ThinkGeek.com.

3G iPhone to be released next year?

3G iPhone? Now that's what I'm talking about! A Bloomberg article recently revealed that Apple will be introducing a faster iPhone next year. Now that's what I'm talking about. So I guess I really won't be buying an iPhone this year.

But then again, if 3G is all that iPhone's adding to the iPhone, then maybe I'll hold off until they release a better version. Specifically one that has GPS and an open platform for developers. I mean, right now, I'll settle for the iPhone being open for developers. An open iPhone would mean better applications rather than having to run it on the Safari Browser.

I don't know, maybe Apple is updating their iPhone in installments, like they'll release the 3G version next year then next year they'll release the open version, then the year after that they'll release one with GPS, etc, etc. Kinda like Nokia's marketing strategy.

Cheap Virtual Offices

Though working at home is most of the times fun and cost effective, as your business grows, you can’t exactly expect your home to accommodate all your business expansions, after all, it is called a “home” for a reason. If you’re looking for cheap private small offices and you’re located near Memphis, there’s a small company that leases executive suites memphis, Tennessee.

Private small offices start at $120 per month or if you really don’t need an office and you just need a place to meet your clients once in a while, the company offers a virtual office space for as low as $45 a month. With their virtual office space, you can have an actual business address in Memphis, TN, mail forwarding service, Memphis voice mail, incorporation services if you want to set-up a business in Tennessee, and use of their conference room or working area.

For those with online business but have no real office space, their virtual office is a perfect solution. You can use their address and have them forward their mail to you, plus if you’re a non-US resident, they may be able to help you start your own US business since they also have a registered agent service option.

Overview: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2

By: JWhite

Sony Europe has just unveiled a new line of Cyber-Shot cameras, the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 Series. The most prominent feature that Sony is banking on is the 4 GB internal memory with Album Function, apart from that, there's really nothing new about the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 series.

Design

In terms of design, the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 series looks pretty much the same as the other Sony Cyber-Shot T series with the all-metal body and high color finishes, the only difference is the the 5 color options. The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 will be available in black, blue, green, pink, and white. The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 series also has a 2.7 inch touch screen LCD so you can have a bigger and clearer preview of the shots you take. The 2.7 inch display on the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 also lets you enjoy the new "scrapbook" feature which lets you collage your images right on your camera as well as choose themed backgrounds for your on screen scrapbook.

Features

The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 series features 8.1 effective mega pixels with BIONZ image processor and 3x optical zoom Carl Zeiss lens. Like the previous Cyber-Shot models that Sony released, the Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 series also has Sony's Double Anti-Blur, Face Detection, and high ISO Sensitivity that can reach up to ISO 3200. The Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T2 series also has the smile shutter function that automatically takes the picture when the subject smiles to ensure that you never have to take pictures of frowning subjects again. To cater to the social networking crowd and the growing number of people online who are sharing photos, Sony added a "Sharemark" technology which lets users easily tag and share their photos. The included Picture Motion Browser Portable software also lets users easily share their images on sites like Flickr.

The Sony Cyber-Shot T2 series is also equipped with a huge 4GB of internal memory so you never have to erase your photos again. The Album function automatically indexes and arrange your photos so you can quickly access and track down your images. The Cyber-Shot T2 series also has an HD output and PhotoTV HD mode so you can view your photos in stunning HD quality right on your HD TV.

Pricing and Availability

Sony has yet to announce pricing for the Cyber-Shot T2 series but Sony announced that the Cyber-Shot T2 will be available in Europe starting November. No word yet as to US release. A 4GB internal memory isn't really something that can woo consumers specially since memory card prices have been dropping since last year, however, Sony already has a solid consumer base and they have already proved that they can deliver quality point and shoot compact cameras so Sony fans wanting to replace their old digital cameras may be the first ones to grab to get the new Cyber-Shot T2 series.
