A word from our sponsors:
Barbara Walters will be interviewing Dr. David Sinclair on “living to 150”. In the interview, Dr. Sinclair will talk about their resvertrol formulation.
Resveratrol is a phytonutrient that can be found in grapes and other plants. Numerous studies have shown that resveratrol can potentially prevent or slow down some diseases such as Cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. The latest study that I’ve com across is a research conducted by scientists at the University of Kansas and presented at the Society for Neuroscience conference. The researchers’ study suggest that resveratrol and other phytonutrients commonly found in grapes may protect against the onset of Alzheimer’s disease and is beneficial for the health of the brain and protect against other neurodegenerative diseases.
On the other hand, the study conducted by David Sinclair shows that resveratrol has increased the lifespan of obese mice and that it prevented most side effects caused by high calorie diets. Since numerous studies have shown the potential of resveratrol, RevGenetics has extracted this potent molecule and put it on capsules and also made herbal powder so that others could take advantage of its potential. The company also offers a money-back guarantee on their U.S. Lab Tested Resveratrol.

XtremeMac Tango Studio Speakers Review
iPod speakers is a must-have gadget for those who can't live without their iPods. Whether you’re an audiophile or just a casual music listener, there are a variety of iPod speakers out in the market that would suit your needs and the XtremeMac Tango Studio iPod speakers is one of them.
Design
Because iPod owners are naturally stylish, it’s important that their iPod speakers would scream style. The XtremeMac Tango Studio scores a point for design. Though its style is minimalist the black rectangle with blue digital clock screams simple but chic. I could definitely see the XtremeMac Tango Studio Speakers matching any décor whether it’s a bachelor pad or a college dorm room.
Advantages
At just $60 (from most major online stores), the XtremeMac Tango Studio speakers is a budget speaker so don’t expect any fancy features. You’ll find a retractable iPod dock, built-in FM radio, auxiliary jack, and a wireless remote. The XtremeMac Tango Studio speakers would fit any iPod and it even works with the iPhone if you put the iPhone in airplane mode.
The audio quality of the XtremeMac Tango Studio speakers is what you can expect from iPod speakers at this price range. It’s nothing to wow about as it lacks bass but it’s good enough to use on your night stand, office cubicle or dorm room if you just want something playing on the background.
Disadvantages
Though the XtremeMac Tango Studio Speakers is just $60, I was still expecting it to have an alarm clock function. I guess it was the blue LED digital clock on its front that made me expect that it might have an alarm clock function. The XtremeMac Tango Studio Speakers also lacks a radio preset. You have to manually surf through the FM channels using your remote so if you’re a bit lazy surfing then you better pick out a favorite radio station if you still haven’t done so.
Conclusion
Though it lacks the alarm clock function and radio presets, the $60 price plus the sleek design makes the XtremeMac Tango Studio speakers one of the better iPod Speakers at this price range.

Microvision’s SHOW Pico Projector
Microvision has announced that they will be showing their ultra-thin mobile laser projector prototype at the CTIA Wireless 2008. The SHOW Pico Projector Prototype is a hand-held, battery operated laser pico projector and will enable large screen viewing from your cell phones, laptops, digital cameras, PMPs, and other mobile devices.
This device would prove especially useful for older persons who have a hard time squinting at their cell phones (dad, are you reading this?).
The SHOW Pico Projector prototype has a WVGA 848 x 480 resolution, 10 lumens brightness, 16:9 native aspect ration, and 60Hz refresh rate. Video inputs include RGB, Composite, and S-Video. The device weighs 220 grams and has a rated 1.5 hour battery life.
Let’s hope this one gets out of being a prototype and into a production.

Mitsubishi's Blu-ray Recorders, DVR-BZ200 and DVR-BZ100 has a touch screen remote
Ah, to be in Japan and have all the high tech stuff. Mitsubishi will be releasing their first Blu-ray recorders, the Mitsubishi DVR-BZ200 and Mitsubishi DVR-BZ100. The DVR-BZ200 will have a 500GB hard disk drive while the DVR-BZ100 will have a 250GB hard disk drive.
Tuners on this device supports terrestrial digital, BS digital and 110-degree CS digital broadcasts so users can record two HD digital broadcasts program at the same time.
The cool thing about this Blu-ray recorders is that it comes with two remotes: one standard and one with a touch screen LCD panel. The touch screen remote hopes to give users a more easier experience by only displaying the necessary buttons on the LCD panel according to the options chosen by the user. A very good idea since most of us hate remotes with too many buttons.
Sadly, the Mitsubishi DVR-BZ200 and DVR-BZ100 is only available in Japan and will debut in May 24, 2008.
