Boutique shopping experience online

When people say that they love gadgets, some would automatically brand them as “tech geeks”. It’s okay to be branded as a tech geek as long you don’t actually show it in the way you dress. Though we’re tech geeks, it doesn’t mean that we have to forget about fashion altogether. So today, I’m going to talk about my favorite place to shop online.

My favorite place to shop for clothes online is Tobi.com. Tobi.com offers a lot of high quality, branded clothes, some are already familiar like Seven for All Mankind and Nudie Jeans while others are from up and coming designers. The layout of the website is simple but elegant. It reminds you of shopping on an actual boutique. Navigating the website is very easy; you can either shop by brand or by sex. You can quickly browse through their sale items since there’s a quick link to everything they have on a discount on their home page.

Tobi.com also caters to the environmentally conscious; they have a dedicated web page called Eco-Tobi. Under the Eco-Tobi webpage, you will find environmentally friendly brands that support environmental cause such as wildlife preservation or pesticide free farming.

What I love best about the site is their personal stylist service. You can call or chat with a stylist to help you with your fashion woes. Even if you don’t know the difference between a Nudie and a Nooka, their fashion stylist will help you look your best

New Wii Zapper

The Nintendo Wii just got cooler with the introduction of the new Wii Zapper. The Wii Zapper has a Wii Remote and Nunchuk to better cater to arcade style shooting games. I can see cooler game titles for the Wii in the future thanks to this Wii Zapper.

According to Nintendo, the Wii Zapper will come with Link's Crossbow Training, a game that has the same style as the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I really miss playing Legend of Zelda, maybe I'll get the Wii just to play that game alone.

The Wii Zapper has a price of $19.99 and is available now at retailers.

New Nikon Lens

This new lens from Nikon looks interesting. The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens has a “vibration reduction” technology. So what is this about? Just some new “proprietary” from Nikon that allows you to shoot sharper and blur-free photos even without using a tripod.

The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR is compatible with Nikon DX format and D-SLR digital cameras. The Nikon NIKKOR 18-55mm VR lens offers 3x optical zoom and will be available in December for the price of $199.

Simple Ecommerce Solutions

The Internet has been a growing medium for businesses to sell their products. Recent surveys suggested that more and more people are shopping online and some people even prefer it rather than traditional brick and mortar store. Setting up an online store is easy, you don’t actually need to have a thorough knowledge about web design and css or html or all that since there are some companies out there that provide the whole package you need in setting up your online store. This pre-packaged software is often called Ecommerce Solutions or Shopping Cart Software.

One such company that offers Shopping Cart Software solutions is Ecommerce.networksolutions.com. You can have your business up and running for as low as $49.95 a month or if you want to have every feature, they have another package for $99.95 a month. The website offers a pretty simple layout that anyone starting an online business can easily navigate through it. With their standard shopping cart software, you will be able to use their pre-formatted storefront designs, access to their web-based administration tools so you can access your store anywhere you have an internet connection, and integration with QuickBooks and other large payment facilities. Their Pro ecommerce solutions is geared for those more adept in html since you can fully customize your store design, and a more advanced products inventory, reporting and shipping tools.

Visit the website to see the list of all the features as well as view screenshots of the ecommerce software to see how simple their software really is.

New Mario Party for Nintendo DS

You know what I really miss most about having a Nintendo Game System like my Gameboy? It's those Super Mario and Legend of Zelda Games. The Mario Party DS is the latest in Nintendo's line of the Mario Party Game series. The game features 70 new minigames wireless competition through the use of only one game card.

Oh well, I guess I just have to pray that someone begins making a DS emulator for the PSP. :)

Where to get your Bedroom Furniture Needs

While I usually want my bedroom filled with nifty gadgets, I don’t want it to look like some room in Star Trek, I just want it to look simple and conventional, modern meets classic. I’m thinking about redecorating my room this upcoming month and I came about this furniture store, Home-and-Bedroom.com. The website seems to offer quality bedroom furniture.

Some of the furniture that I came across is from Hillsdale Furniture. If you want your bedroom to look extra classical, they offer medieval looking headboards. But if wrought-iron headboard is not your thing, they also offer simple designs, and what particularly caught my attention is their Daybeds. They have this beautiful Camelot Wood Post Daybed that has an elegant design.

They also have furniture from Fashion Bed Group. One bed that caught my eye from Fashion Bed Group is a modern bed called Kyoto Platform Bed. The bed has a headboard with intersecting vertical and horizontal posts that reminds you of houses in Japan.

Home and Bedroom offers free shipping and has no sales tax so you can save a lot on your furniture needs. Home and Bedroom doesn’t only offer beds, they also have a selection of children’s furniture from nightstands to dressers. And if you don’t know how to mix and match or which furniture will go with which, they also offer decorating tips on their website so you can choose which furniture is right for your home.

New Wireless Controller from Sony seen at FCC

I was browsing around the FCC website trying to locate a decent gadget to write about when this Sony wireless controller pops up at me. I know that Sony already has a wireless controller for the PS3 so I don't know what new features this new one will have.

But if you're interested in browsing around to see what it's all about, here's the link: Sony Wireless Controller.
