Sure, dentists have boring jobs and a lot of people avoid them like the plague but it doesn't mean that they can't have nifty little gadgets. The styla is a micro-laser with a pen-like design that can make soft tissue incisions. Uses for the Styla include biopsies, removing tissues, and maybe some other cosmetic dentistry procedures.
The Styla measures 7 inches long and weighs just under 2 ounces. It can even sense if the user is right or left handed and has eight pre-programmed procedures. I wonder if any dentists Manchester already has this gadget?
