Sleep Better with a Sleep Number Bed

Okay, I’m not really sure if this is a gadget but hey, Wikipedia defined a gadget as: “A device or appliance that has a useful specific practical purpose and function but is often thought of as novelty.” I’m talking about a sleep number bed. I’ve heard about Sleep Number Beds before but I haven’t really tried one out until I slept on one in a hotel. At first I was confused about what the remote is for and thought that it was for the air conditioner.

Basically, a Sleep Number Bed is a bed that allows you to adjust the firmness or softness of the mattress. You can adjust it from 0-99 so you can find the ideal level of softness or firmness that suits you. When I first heard of this in a hotel room, I thought that maybe the Hotel got tired of snotty guests that want the best mattress so they just put an adjustable one in their hotel rooms to keep guests from changing rooms. Speaking of which, I heard that girl from Lizzie Maguire had a fit when she went to a Hotel that didn’t have the same mattress she slept on the last time she was there and the hotel manager said that they gave her the same one and when I heard of this bed I thought, maybe she slept on a Sleep Number Bed and had a different setting. Let me just tell you, with 99 settings, you’re definitely bound to find the perfect mattress.

So if you have the money to pay for this expensive mattress, go get yourself one.
