This is because the Motorola ROKR E8 gives the illusion that it has a touchscreen since it only illuminates the buttons you need depending on what mode you're in. The first photo is the image of the Motorola ROKR E8 in music mode, notice that there's no keypad and you get dedicated music keys. The second image is of the Motorola ROKR E8 in phone mode, notice that there are now the alphanumeric keys you can see on an ordinary mobile phone. The third image is of the Motorola ROKR E8 in photo mode, with only the zoom in and out and camera buttons highlighted.
The Motorola ROKR E8 definitely looks like a cool phone and might push Motorola back in the number two position this 2008. It's no iPhone killer but it's on a league of its own.
